Menopause can be the downfall of any woman, especially since HRT, Hormone Replacement Therapy, is packed with risks such as blood clotting and cancer. Luckily, women can deal with menopause in a safe and natural way. Not only are these ideas easy to get your hands on, but are highly efficient. The first step to take in treating menopause is adding more soy to your diet. Soy products are the highest rated natural menopause treatment ingredient. This is due to the fact that soy beans have phytoestrogen (plant estrogen). Phytoestrogen is easily absorbed by the body and can provide relief for all women. Soy does wonders to fight the pesky hot flashes of menopause. Adding soy to your diet is simple. Just replace half of your dairy and meat intake with soy replacement products to begin reaping the soy beans benefit. Flaxseeds are also another wonderful thing to add to your diet. Flaxseeds and soy products have the ability to add natural estrogen to the body which is lost through menopause. When a woman's body is lacking in natural estrogen, annoying symptoms can occur such as the hot flashes, abnormal bleeding, decreased bone density, and mood changes. Another thing to add daily to your diet is vitamins and minerals. Your body is going through a time of change and it is probably lacking what it needs. The ideal diet would consist primarily of vegetables, fruit, fish, and water. However, sometimes we do not always get the required amount of vitamins and minerals in what we eat. Most drug stores contain a wide variety of all vitamins and supplements. They also do not cost a fortune. Amongst dealing with the symptoms of menopause, you should live your life as naturally as possible. Keep your clothes comfortable and made of cotton and natural fibers. These fabrics will help your skin breathe and help you be more comfortable. Do not forget to drink plenty of water; dehydration will only add to your suffering. Cut out all caffeine, alcohol, and diet pills as well. Majority of the time cheese and chocolate can be the trigger of hot flashes, so cut back on those as well. Try to stay in well ventilated rooms or close to a fan for when a hot flash comes around. Continue or include light exercise as well, even just a simple walk around the block a day can do wonders in the aid of menopause. Menopause is a hard and annoying time to go through. With the help of diet, exercise, and a comfortable living environment, menopause does not have to be unbearable.
